Appeal of Conscience Foundation mourns the death of His Beatitude Patriarch Irinej of Serbia, eminent religious leader of his people. On March 20th in the midst of the pandemic I was honored to welcome His Beatitude at Park East Synagogue to further our joint efforts for religious freedom, peaceful coexistence and inter-religious cooperation.

In his memory we will carry on. Sincere condolences to the Serbian people and the Orthodox Christian world.
