DECISION OF THE HOLY ASSEMBLY OF BISHOPS

HOLY SYNOD OF BISHOPS
OF THE SERBIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH

YOUR GRACE,

The Holy Assembly of Bishops, at its meeting on May 20/7, 2016, HANo. 66/95, rendered the following decision:

“During the course of the upcoming Great and Holy Council of the Orthodox Church in Crete, from June 18-27, 2016, in the petitions which mention the ruling hierarch at all divine services on the canonical regions of the Serbian Orthodox Church in the Great Litany and Litany of Fervent Supplication, insert immediately after his name the following text:

“...and all hierarchs gathered at the Holy and Great Council, that the Lord enlighten them, grant them wisdom, and through their prayers have mercy upon us and save us, let us pray to the Lord.“

Based on the decision of the Holy Synod of Bishops, recorded under the above mentioned number and date, it is Our honor to inform Your Grace, kindly asking that you inform your diocesan clergy in due time of this decision inviting them to act accordingly.
