Alhambra, CA - On the evening of Sunday, April 24th a small group of Theological Students from the St. Sava School of Theology in Libertyville, Ilinois arrived in Los Angeles to join His Grace, Bishop Maxim in participating in the Bright Week services and festivities.
On Monday, April 25th the students participated in the Divine Liturgy at the St. Sava Church in Los Angeles and after the service they enjoyed a small luncheon on the grounds just outside the church. On Tuesday, April 26th the students traveled with His Grace to The Meeting of The Lord Serbian Orthodox Monastery in Escondido, California, where many others joined them in prayer at the Divine Liturgy and then in fellowship afterwards, enjoying an afternoon of food, music, and even bocce ball, shaded from the sun by the beautiful trees on the monastery grounds. The students enjoyed some free time on Wednesday, April 27th before they departed early Thursday morning to return to their studies at the St. Sava School of Theology in Libertyville, Illinois.
