THE NEWLY ESTABLISHED PARISH IN NAPLES

Naples, FL - On the the 18th Sunday after Pentecost, the feast day of St. Dionysios the Aeropagite, Sunday, October 16,2016, through the prayers of St. George the Great Martyr and with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Irinej of Eastern America, a Divine Liturgy was served in Naples, Florida.

It was on this occasion that the faithful people of this city gather together around the Eucharist in this southernmost city in Florida on the western coast. Following the Divine Liturgy the agape meal was at a nearby restaurant through the warm invitation of the hosts.

Through the hard working hands and great love of Toma and Branka Cirakovic and the other parishioners a small but beautiful chapel was constructed dedicated to St. George the Great Martyr which will be the spiritual headquarters for the faithful people from this region. The joy is even great as Bishop Irinej will bless this new chapel next year and bring his archpastoral blessings to this part of Florida.
