METROPOLITAN CHRISTOPHER ATTENDS ENTHRONEMENT OF NEW HEAD

Washington, DC - On behalf of the Serbian Orthodox Church in North and South America, His Eminence Metropolitan Christopher of Midwestern America, attended and took part at the Holy Hierarchical Divine Liturgy on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Washington D.C.
Hierarchs from other local churches, together with clergy, joined the faithful of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA) as they gathered that day to celebrate the election of Metropolitan Jonah as Archbishop of Washington and New York and Metropolitan of All America and Canada.
